ORGANIZERS
The A3TS (Heat and Surface Treatment Association) is the only French technical heat and surface treatment association. It has more than 700 members representing nearly 400 companies from every branch of the metal transforming industries, together with research centres, universities and engineering schools.
In addition to the organisation of congresses and technical discussion days, A3TS is also a regional network, with 7 sections, a continuous training body and a specialist publisher.

The SFV (French Vacuum Society), founded in 1945, is a non-profit-making learned society for users of vacuum technologies. Its function is to create and develop special relationships between the different players in the scientific, academic and industrial fields. It was declared a public interest body in 1957 and plays a key role in the transfer of technical and scientific knowledge.
Training, communication and promotion:
- For over 35 years the SFV has been providing state-certified education in the field of Vacuum Technologies and their applications, from industrial vacuum to ultravacuum.
- Throughout the year the SFV organises national and international symposiums, study days on specific areas, conferences and exhibitions.
